Uganda’s Ministry of Health issued an Ebola Travel Advisory as the country continued public health measures related to Ebola preparedness and response.
The advisory was published through the Ministry’s official platform and forms part of public communication around travel, surveillance, prevention and response procedures.
Uganda has maintained heightened Ebola preparedness following reported cases and regional concern over cross-border movement.
The advisory is intended to guide travellers, health workers, border officials, hospitality operators and the wider public on measures linked to Ebola prevention and control.
Uganda’s health authorities have experience responding to Ebola outbreaks and continue to work with national and international partners on surveillance, risk communication, case management and emergency coordination.
