EU-Funded MMoCRA Programme Opens 38 Climate Resilience Mobility Scholarships for African Students
The Multidisciplinary Mobility for a Climate Resilient Africa programme, funded by the European Union through the Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme, is accepting applications for its first cohort of scholarships, offering 38 fully funded Master's, doctoral, traineeship and staff mobility opportunities out of a planned 95 across the life of the project.
Applications opened 31 July and close 15 September 2026 at 5:00 PM East Africa Time, with some listings citing a 20 September closure for related mobility categories.
AU-EU Youth Lab Opens Entrepreneurship and Innovation Grants for East African Youth Organisations
The AU-EU Youth Lab has open calls for its Entrepreneurship Grants and Innovation Grants, offering youth led organisations in Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and several other African countries funding of up to 42,000 euros and 31,500 euros respectively. The Entrepreneurship Grants support youth led initiatives that expand skills and enterprise opportunities and improve the policy environment for young entrepreneurs, while the Innovation Grants back youth organisations developing locally relevant solutions to community and systemic challenges.
Applications close on 23 September 2026.
