Kenya health sector partners align ahead of national Health Summit

Nairobi, 16 July 2026

Kenya's Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale convened a Health Sector Partners and Stakeholders' Breakfast Briefing ahead of the Kenya Health Summit, bringing together development partners, the private sector, professional bodies and civil society to align on the summit's objectives and priorities. The meeting highlighted progress in health sector reforms, with digital health identified as a critical enabler of Universal Health Coverage through the Taifa Care model.

Discussions focused on strengthening interoperable digital health systems, improving data driven decision making, expanding access to quality healthcare services and fostering innovation to support a resilient, efficient and people centred health system. Duale said the Kenya Health Summit would provide a platform to showcase the country's digital health transformation, strengthen partnerships, mobilise investment and accelerate adoption of health innovations.
