Enabel Opens New Uganda Procurement for Digital Courtroom Infrastructure
KAMPALA, Uganda — 21 August 2026
The Belgian development agency Enabel has opened a new procurement opportunity in Uganda for the supply, installation and commissioning of a courtroom audio-visual recording system for the Industrial Court's Fort Portal branch. The tender, referenced UGA21003-10302, also includes procurement of scanners and compatible optical-character-recognition software. The procurement notice was posted on 21 August, with bids due by 10 September 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Kampala time.
The assignment forms part of a broader development trend in which digital infrastructure is increasingly being introduced into public institutions to improve efficiency, documentation and access to services.
