EAC Student Mobility Scholarship Scheme and Other Regional Awards Open to Applicants

The scheme, delivered by the Inter University Council for East Africa, waives tuition and examination fees for students studying in a Partner State other than their own, and covers travel, health insurance and a research allowance for master's and PhD applicants, who must be under 35 and 45 respectively. Applications close 20 August.

Kenya has the largest allocation at 49 slots across nine universities, followed by Tanzania with 48 slots across six universities. IUCEA separately continues its assessment of additional universities for expansion of the programme, following institutional visits completed across all four countries in June.
