Burundi seeks social safeguards and gender specialist for climate-resilient water programme

The Government of Burundi has published a consultancy opportunity for a social safeguards and gender specialist under a climate-resilient water sector programme supported by the African Development Bank.
The procurement notice, published on 23 September 2026, relates to the first phase of the Programme d'Appui au Secteur de l'Eau et au Renforcement de la Résilience au Changement Climatique (PASEREC).
The specialist will support the project's implementation unit, contributing to the management of social and gender-related safeguards associated with water sector and climate resilience interventions.
